The Fiction Project

For the past month, I have been working on my submission to the Fiction Project. This is similar to the Sketchbook Project and is run by the same people, and the premise is very similar. They send you a little notebook with the theme of "Tell the World a Story" to be returned by November 15. Then it goes on tour and eventually into permanent residence at the Brooklyn Library of Art.

I am sending my submission in tomorrow, and while there is no video to capture the progress of this book, it will eventually be digitally uploaded by the Art House Coop and put on their website and you can view it then.

I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to finish this project on time. I have been so busy with school and extracurriculars that it often felt like a chore to work on this. My book didn't really turn out to be so much of a story, but rather fragments of events and ideas of mine. Its very honest and personal and I think that's just what I needed to write about right now. 

When I come home for winter break, I will be working on my 2014 Sketchbook Project, and I will keep you all posted about that!
